Dr Kim has extensive experience in the care of your small animal friends. After working in both general and emergency clinics, and with surgical and medical specialists, she started the innovative concept of Paws at Yours.
Dr Kim prides herself on her approachable and compassionate nature. Multiple nominee of "Most Supportive Vet of the Year" through MDBA, Dr Kim also has a keen interest in behavioural issues, as well as the broad range of skills needed to keep your best friend happy and healthy. Dr Kim lectures with the National Dog Trainers Federation, and runs First Aid Courses for pet owners.
Mum of 2 beautiful kids (Zach and Charli), the goofy Golden Retriever Huxley, and the super cuddly and demanding Stig the Tonkinese, Dr Kim would love to get to know you and your family.
Meet Tamara, our super caring vet nurse. Tamara started out as one of Dr Kim's clients, and has since become a vital member of our team. Tamara is responsible for the general care of your pets while they are with us for surgery, and assists Dr Kim with their anaesthetic and procedure.
You will see her on the road helping our older patients with their arthritis management, doing nurse consultations and nail clips, and helping with the transport of our surgery patients.
Tamara knows first hand what it's like to care for a pet with medical concerns. Her beautiful Labrador Ruby had epilepsy and a brain tumour, while Miss Wilma was treated for hyperthyroidism and kidney disease. She is currently the proud mum of Cooper the Labradoodle, Mieka the Burmese and Yoki the Tonkinese.
